karinis potencialas statusas T sritis apsauga nuo naikinimo priemonių apibrėžtis Valstybės (koalicijos) galimybės taikos ir karo metais išlaikyti ir tobulinti ginkluotąsias pajėgas, didinti jų kovinę gebą, papildyti parengtais kadrais, aprūpinti šiuolaikiniais ginklais ir kovos technika, visų rūšių materialinėmis priemonėmis, užtikrinti, kad būtų pasiekti karo meto tikslai. Karinis potencialas nėra pastovus.
